An interdisciplinary module for engineering and medical students of UCC took place in 2015. Anaesth-Ease was developed and prototyped with a team of engineers, medical and dental students under the guidance of clinical mentor Dr Joe Mckenna and Prof Cantillon-Murphy. The grands rounds at the end of November involved presenting the product to a panel of judges that included a representative from Stryker.
